Eunice Agar
is an expressive
realist painter of landscapes in oil, casein and watercolor and
figurative subjects in oil. She paints on location in Western
Massachusetts and Maine, and on trips abroad. She also exhibits
drawings, block prints and etchings.
Ms. Agar has had
many solo shows in the Northeast and Florida, among them exhibits
at Denise Bibro Fine Art in Manhattan, The Albany Institute of
History and Art, Le Moyne Art Center in Tallahassee, the University
of Maine at Machias, Ainilian Gallery in Washington, DC, and the
Becket Art Center in Becket, MA. Ms. Agar's work is also part
of the permanent collection of Bates College.
